Additional Grant of CCT to DCS/DCF – July 16, 2015

An additional grant of €5,000,000 was obtained by DCS/DCF from the Collen Charitable Trust in July 2015 to increase its stake in FUND+.

2nd Additional Grant of CCT to DCS/DCF – December 15, 2015

A second additional grant of €5,000,000 was obtained by DCS/DCF from the Collen Charitable Trust in December 2015 for additional investment in FUND+.

3rd Additional Grant of CCT to DCS/DCF – July 5, 2016

A third additional grant of €6,000,000 was obtained by DCS/DCF from the Collen Charitable Trust in July 2016 for additional investment in FUND+.

4th Additional Grant of CCT to DCS/DCF – September 21, 2016

A fourth additional grant of €5,000,000 was obtained by DCS/DCF from the Collen Charitable Trust in September 2016 for additional investment in FUND+.

5th Additional Grant of CCT to DCS/DCF – August 2, 2018

A fifth additional grant of €4,500,000 was obtained by DCS/DCF from the Collen Charitable Trust in August 2018 to purchase 4,500 shares of FUND+.

Grant of CCT via LSRP – August 18, 2016

A grant of €1,000,000 was obtained by LSRP from the Collen Charitable Trust in August 2016 to contribute to the construction of the Désiré Collen Learning Center in the ALO building of KU Leuven on Campus Gasthuisberg.

Grant of CCT via LSRP  – January 30, 2017

A grant of €1,000,000 was obtained by LSRP from the Collen Charitable Trust in January 2017 for the constitution of the Prof. Dr. Marc Verstraete Fund for Cardiovascular Research.

Grant of CCT to DCS/DCF

A grant of €15,000,000 was obtained by DCS/DCF from the Collen Charitable Trust in May 2017 to finance the constitution of a three-yearly Francqui-Collen Prize for Applied Medicine and for associated activities by the Francqui Foundation.

For the Jeantet-Collen Prize

Continued Grant of CCT to DCS/DCF beyond 2021

An annual grant of CHF600,000 was obtained by DCS/DCF from the Collen Charitable Trust, renewable every 3 years, to continue the European “Jeantet-Collen Prize for Translational Medicine” by the Fondation Louis-Jeantet de Médecine, Geneva, Switzerland beyond 2021.

A grant of €1,000,000 was obtained by DCS/DCF from the Collen Charitable Trust in July 2020 for the purchase of the former residence of Prof. Dr. Marc Verstraete and its renovation and adaptation for academic purposes.

2023 for the renovation of Huyze Marc Verstraete.
